2017 Sparkling Winchester

Sparkling Winchester grapes were grown Organically under our USDA certification.   It was made organically by Matthieu Finot (from King Family Vineyard's) and finished off at Veritas.  This wine won two Silver Meda'sl at the 2020 Governor's cup and again in 2021.  We made this in an traditional Method. It is very clear with lots of little bubbles that linger on your tongue.   Exactly what you want in an upper level sparkling wine.  It has a very palatable expression with fruit and complexity.  The Champagne yeast strain gives it the nose of a true Champagne.  It was aged for 1 1/2 years on the lees and will only get better with age.
